Nations Cup Floorball - 12 Oct 2025

As part of the effort to raise the sports activities of the student nations, we will carry out a number of "Nations Cups" where the nations compete against each other in light forms. During an academic year, the plan is to carry out the following national cups:

Autumn semester: 1)Brännboll (Rounders) 2) Floorball 

Spring semester: 3) Volleyball 4) Futsal/Soccer

Nations Cup in Floorball 12 Oct 2025

  • One team per nation 
  • Game format: 5v5 on small goals
  • Mixed team 
  • Matches 1x10 min
  • Location: Campus1477
  • Cup format: Group play with single series. Playoffs
  • Time: Group play begins at 11 a.m. and the finals are finished at about 5 p.m. (we will return with the exact start time when we know how many teams have signed up)
  • Last day of registration 7 Oct in this form (by the sportsofficial at the nation)
  • Rules and structure: The matches will be played according to the regulations from the Swedish Indoor Bandy Federation: https://www.innebandy.se/media/ebvh4ibw/regelhandboken-2022-26.pdf with the following exceptions:
    • The game takes place without a goalkeeper and with a maximum of five outfield players per team on the field.
    • Small targets will be used to compensate for this.
    • Goals scored from the other side of the half court are considered invalid and result in a free shot for the other team.
    • No player is allowed to stay in the goal area. If this happens, it results in goals for the other team.
  • Limites of participantion: In order to participate in tournaments, it is required that you are an active student at Uppsala University or SLU, alternatively that you are employed full-time at one of Uppsala's student nations or student unions. The team managers are also responsible for their players meeting this requirement.
