Forest bath with mindfulness - 16 April 2026

Are you curious about ‘forest bathing’ and mindfulness? Or do you just want a quiet moment to relax in nature? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Forest bathing with mindfulness is a slow, conscious exercise that involves immersing yourself in nature by engaging all your senses, which can reduce stress and increase well-being. During this forest bathing session, you connect online from a place of your choice in nature.

The forest bathing session is led by Viktoria Rick from Student Health Services at Uppsala University 

Preparation:

  • Wear comfortable and warm clothes and shoes.
  • Bring a water bottle, a mat to lie or sit on, your mobile phone and headphones.
  • Choose a quiet place in nature where you can relax during the forest bathing session.
  • Listen to the forest bathing session with mindfulness guidance online using your headphones.

Language: English

Time: Thursday 16 April at 12.15-13.00

Location: Your own chosen spot in nature connected to Zoom (you will receive a link to Zoom before the activity)

Registration: You can register by filling out this form by 15 April at the latest

The activity is carried out by Student Health Services at Uppsala University in collaboration with Campus1477 and with support from the Upplandsstiftelsen foundation and Region Uppsala.
