16 Jan - Let's try Cross-country skiing

Are you keen to try cross-country skiing, or do you have some previous experience and want some company and a few technical tips? Then you are welcome to join us when we go for a training session at Kap. (Provided the snow and tracks are still there, of course.)

If there is still snow and tracks on the small snow trail at Kap, we will hold a beginner-friendly cross-country skiing training session at Kap.

Location: The ski trail at Kap

Time: 16 January at 2 p.m. to approx. 3:30 p.m.

Equipment: You need to have or arrange your own equipment, including skis, boots and poles. If you don't have your own, you can borrow some free of charge from Fritidsbanken.

The session: We will go through the basics of cross-country skiing and then you can try skiing around a little on your own.

Beginners level: The session is primarily aimed at those who want to try cross-country skiing for the first time or who do not have much previous experience, but you are of course welcome to join in and enjoy the company of other students at a training session even if you are an experienced skier.

Snacks: Feel free to bring something warm to drink in a thermos and something to snack on if you want.

MAX 10 places

If the places are full, you are of course welcome to come to Kap and ski on your own and with the rest of us.

REGISTRATION: You can register for the session marked ‘Cross-country skiing’ in our booking system, either on our website or in our GoActive app. You must be a member to register. If you are not already a member, you can become a free ‘Student Sports Member’.
