Let's go Mushroom picking - 10 Oct 2026

Are you curious about Swedish nature and want to meet other people from different cultures and learn more about forest mushrooms? Then this is the perfect opportunity!

Join Biotopia on a trip to the mushroom forest! We will learn about many different types of mushrooms, wich ones you can eat or not. After the tour, we will serve mushroom sandwiches and coffee/tea.

Date: 10 October 2026
Time: 10.30 am – the event will last 3–4 hours.
Meeting point: The northern car park at Gammelskogen in Storvreta
How to get there: The train to Storvreta (towards Gävle) departs from Uppsala Central Station at 10.12 or bus 115 departs from Uppsala C3 at 09.50.
What to bring: weather-appropriate clothing, something to sit on, and a notebook if you wish.
