Outdoor Knitting - 27 Aug 2026

In collaboration with Biotopia, Upplandsstiftelsen and Uppsala University's Student Health Service, we invite you to a cosy opportunity to sit and knit together by the campfire

In nature, there’s room for everything and everyone, and this evening we’ll be knitting together amidst the rustling of the forest and the crackling of the bonfire.

You can meet us either at Sävja Health Centre or at the ‘P’ sign for Stordammen, and then we’ll walk to Stordammen – about 1 kilometre – where we’ll get together and knit.

This activity is suitable for everyone, from passionate knitters to those wanting to cast on their first project. Please bring your own yarn and needles, and feel free to bring a snack.

When: Thursday 27 August, 6–8 pm

Where: Stordammen, near Sävja in Norra Lunsen, Uppsala

Meeting point: Sävja health centre or the car park at Stordammen, Norra Lunsen

Bus stop: Daneport, near the health centre

Registration: Not required, just come there!

What to bring: Your own yarn and knitting needles, and feel free to bring a snack.
