Let's Dance Fox - 24 Jan 2027

Are you keen to learn the basics of the Foxtrot? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity, as some of Sweden’s best-known dancers are inviting you to a beginner’s course in Swedish Fox.

On 24 January, Tobias Wallin and Ann-Charlotte Vacker are hosting a beginner’s course in Swedish Fox at Fyris Park, a well-known and popular dance venue in Uppsala. The focus is on understanding what Swedish Fox is and its fundamentals.

During the day, you’ll receive a well-structured introduction to Swedish Fox, with the emphasis on technique, flow and partnership. The focus is not on memorising steps, but on understanding how the dance works – so that you can feel confident and free on the social dance floor,

Tobias Wallin is one of Sweden’s most established dancers, known for appearing in no fewer than 14 series of Let’s Dance. With a background in both competitive and social dancing, he has a unique ability to break down advanced technique into something immediately useful and natural on the dance floor.

Ann-Charlotte Vacker is one of Sweden’s most highly regarded teachers and a leading figure in Swedish partner dancing, with extensive experience in developing dancers at all levels. Her strength lies in creating clarity, confidence and feeling in the dance – always with a focus on the interaction between two people.

Together, they offer a course where structure meets feeling, and where the aim is for you to leave the dance floor with both a greater understanding and a greater joy of dancing.

This is a course for those of you who have not danced Fox before, but also for experienced dancers who wish to understand the essence of Swedish Fox, in accordance with the Swedish Fox Association’s guidelines on what Swedish Fox is and stands for. On this day, you will have elite instructors alongside experienced dancers AND guest instructors to dance with.

In addition, we will have a large number of instructors participating in the class. They are attending the class for inspiration so that they can then pass on the message to their own classes.
